flat plans

i designed my flat plans on microsoft word instead of drawing them. I put captions and boxes in place to show where everything is going to go including text and images. It is the basic deisign of the magazine with not alot of detail but enough to show where things are and what should be placed where.

results from my questionaire

looking at the results of my questionnaire most people buy magazines because of interviews and updates on whats happening. A high percentage of the people i gave my questionnaire to don't buy music magazines for whatever reason that they choose. There was a rather mixed result to the music question so i think i should base my magazine not just around one specific magazine genre  but possibly a few.
The final question which asked what items do you buy music related each year also came back with very mixed result with all answers being chosen at least one. The results i have received through to my questionnaire have played a big resource in how i am going to portray my music magazines and what people will most likely buy my magazine for>

Recce

I have decided to take my pictures outdoor in a fielded area which looks natural and therefore the people i am using in my magazine don't look too forced and like they are posing for the images. I wish for my images to look natural and unique. The advantages of using this location is it is quiet and the lighting is very natural also with it being autumn the trees and leaves add a great outdoorsy setting. There may be a disadvantage as my images will need to be taken during the day because i need the lighting to be bright and natural but there is a possibility that it may rain as the weather is very much unpredictable. Also there may be people at this specific field that i dont want to be in my image and be in the background which may be a distraction by asking what is going on.
